For any women out there who have recently read "Girl, Wash Your Face" by Rachel Hollis or just so happened to sign up for her Last 90 Days Challenge (which officially started yesterday, Oct. 1), I've decided one of my goals for my last 90 days of this year is to put some time and energy back into my blog! And that's in addition to completing the 5 daily tasks at hand outlined by the challenge. If you're participating, how's it going for you??
I'm not an expert on fashion, design or jewelry making for that matter. I'm really not an expert when it comes to lampworking and making glass beads. You can search and find all kinds of glass artists who have unique abilities to make far more intricate glass beads and designs. However, I LOVE what I make. Sure I need to push further out of my comfort zone and try new techniques and styles that I haven't done before. And I would love to take classes to invest in my skills and broaden my horizons. All in time. But in the meantime, I'm going to focus on sharing what is new in the world of Wrist Flair along with anything and everything that catches my eye or is of interest to me in my world.
I'm all about simple, colorful and modern when choosing new settings for my glass beads. One setting that I'm continuing to admire is my new sterling silver drop earrings. They are sleek, elegant, lightweight and easy to wear. They're modern in design but still the perfect way to add tasteful color to your wardrobe. I'm all about choosing glass colors that work for every season. I love referencing the year's pantone colors and often keep those exact colors in mind when designing new pieces.
I hope this post finds you motivated and refreshed to tackle your last 90 days. And if you're in the mood to pick out some new jewelry for yourself, or need to find a unique gift for your mom, sister or best friend, I'm forever grateful if it happens to be something from my shop!
