I personally would like to welcome you Wrist Flair! I'm glad you're here!
I want to introduce myself and what this business is all about! I'm Meagan Steinberg and I am the one who somehow became fascinated with glass beaded jewelry and didn't really know it:) Any time I'd shop for jewelry, I always found myself drawn to bracelets, earrings or necklaces that had sparkle, dimension and shine. I had no idea that it was glass beaded jewelry that I liked--I just knew it when I saw it. Here are some pics so you understand what I'm referring to:
Once I became aware of the fact that what I liked was actually made of glass, I looked into how glass beads are made. I learned that glass beads are made using a torch and kiln. I read a great book and was ready to experiment and take a leap of faith and purchase my own equipment.
I love large glass beaded jewelry that makes the accessory not only noticeable, but unforgettable. I'm often times asked how I got started and why I continue to make glass beaded jewelry and gifts. So here you go. My taste in colors and styles changes regularly, so I don't want to put a lot of money into jewelry that I might like now for myself, but will never wear in a year or two. My goal of creating these pieces is to give women who love color and modern jewelry accessories that are timeless and that will go well with their wardrobe without spending a fortune. If you love my style, I want you to be able to afford several pieces that match a majority of the outfits in your wardrobe.
What about the glass beaded gifts such as the beaded wine charms, bottle openers and beaded knives and forks (pictured below)?
Again, my intention is to give you options to purchase unique gifts that are practical, unique and affordable. Let's face it...gift giving for family members, friends, co-workers--you name it--affects us numerous times throughout the year. And I don't anticipate that changing for most of us. I love gift giving...when I have the perfect gift to give someone! Gift giving is a complete drag when I have to do it last minute, can't find a good idea and end up grabbing something from a boxed store or a gift certificate.
I love to create items that people can use when they entertain, have cocktail parties, etc. These gifts are fun, colorful and durable.
Again, I'm glad you're here! Thanks for shopping around and don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions or requests!
Cheers,
Meagan
